November 6, 2017She was born in Galați and studied piano since childhood. She became an accompanist at the “Nae Leonard” Musical Theatre and began to study singing with Arta Florescu. In 1990 she became a soloist at the Operetta Theatre in Bucharest. She took lied-oratory classes in Germany, in Weimar, with teacher Lore Fischer.
She played the roles of Zelina in “Don Giovanni” and Susanna in “The Marriage of Figaro” in Vienna, with the Kammeroper team (with whom she toured in Japan, China, Spain, South Korea). During 1996-2001 she permanently participated in the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Opera Festival.
She sang in almost all operettas in the repertoire of the “Ion Dacian” Operetta and Musical Theatre, as soubrette: Adela in “Bat”, Frenzi in “Viennese Blood”, Valancienne in “Merry Widow”, Bella Giretti and Coralina in “Paganini”, Liza in “Countess Maritza”, Stazi in “Silvia”, Mi-Tzu-Ti and Lu-Ku-Song in “Marco Polo’s Secret”, Jaqueline in “Suzana”, Janette in “Rose-Marie”, Myrina in “Lysistrata”.
